Dr. Pratiksha Ramraje

Master of Occupational Therapy (Neurosciences)

I am Dr. Pratiksha Ramraje, a Master of Occupational Therapy (Neurosciences) with over 10 years of clinical experience in the field of neuro-rehabilitation and mental health.

At a rehabilitation center, recovery is not only about stopping substance use—it is about rebuilding daily life with structure, purpose, and confidence. My work is focused on supporting individuals as they move away from substance dependence and gradually regain control over their routines, roles, and responsibilities.

Substance use often disrupts meaningful engagement in everyday activities, leading to loss of routine, self-worth, and direction. Through a structured, person-centered therapeutic approach, I help individuals make practical and sustainable changes in their daily habits and time use. These changes form the foundation for long-term recovery and emotional stability.

I work by recognizing each individual’s existing strengths, abilities, and interests, and using these skills to facilitate positive occupational change. Therapy focuses on developing life skills, emotional regulation, coping strategies, and problem-solving abilities that support independence and prevent relapse. Over time, individuals begin to replace unhealthy activities with healthy, meaningful, and productive ones.

Rehabilitation programs that include life-skills–based and activity-oriented interventions have shown positive outcomes in improving occupational performance, self-esteem, and overall quality of life. My aim is to help individuals build satisfying and meaningful patterns of living—so recovery becomes sustainable, purposeful, and empowering.

At the core of my practice is a belief in hope, dignity, and possibility. With consistent support and guided intervention, individuals can reconnect with purpose, rebuild relationships, and move forward toward a healthier, balanced, and substance-free life.
